Hi Scafloc! I wanted to tell you about our new skin: a complete new design of the wiki. If you see any article, you'll see that the interlinks are now in a scroll in the right side of the screen. Bola and I think it's your decision to mantein it as a part of the page or to go with the new way, the scroll. We will put it as you like :) Regards, Rhaena
Coincidentally I stumbled Tuesday on and thus had a preview at the new skin. I love it and also like the place of the interlinks very much. That the old interlinks showed up as regular links always seemed a bit amateurish to me. This is much better!
I've been working in some articles and, in some of it, there has been images from Henning Ludvigsen (copyrighted to Fantasy Flight Games). I spoke with Henning Ludvigsen about using their pictures (with the recognition of his authorship, of course) and he told me that as the copyright is own by the FFG, he could not grant me permission to use it. I saw that the AWOIAF does have the permission, so, here is my question: how did you manage to contact the FFG to ask for the free use? Do you know?
Thanks anyway! Best regards!
Hi Rhaena! I did not upload his images myself so I'll have to ask Mor2 and Gonzalo. I have approached Thaldir for some pictures he made for FFG. Thaldir self requested and got permission from FFG for us. This may be a similar case.
Got a reaction from Mor2:
"I asked Henning to use his artwork on his deviant art profile and he allowed, as long as we state that he is the artist and have a Copyright to Fantasy Flight Games visible."
So Henning may have an agreement with FFG about this (I have heard of similar cases) or assumes that FFG will be ok with it. As we acknowlegde the copyright and do not profit from this money wise I think this is ok.
